• Applications must be received at least 30 days prior to the event that you are seeking support to attend in order to allow for reporting to the delegated authority (*Special circumstances may apply in December).
• Reports are submitted to the delegated authority on the last working day of each month for consideration.  
• Applications received after the cultural, sporting or leadership event will not be considered.  
• Applicants must be 19 years or younger and be a permanent resident of the Clarence Valley. 
• Applicants must have been selected or formally nominated by a Recognised Authority within their respective field for the purpose of competing or participating in an accredited national or international sporting or cultural event or competition, OR for undertaking an accredited leadership opportunity.
• Applications on behalf of individuals under the age of 18 may only be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
• Before applying - please read the Clarence Valley Cultural & Sports Trust Policy. 
• Please notify Council if your event is cancelled or postponed for any reason.
